When is the code detected?
The P0015 codes is detected by the Engine Control Module (ECM) when the camshaft pulley is in the locked position.
Symptoms
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
P0015 VOLVO Description
Each time that the engine is switched off, the camshaft pulley sets itself in the locked position. The Engine Control Module (ECM) checks that the camshaft pulley leaves the locked position when the engine is started again.
